SECOND THURSDAY OF THE MONTH

PERMACULTURE AT THE PUB

Permaculture at the Pub is like 'gardener's night' at your local.

There's no formal meeting, membership, or agenda, but a shared understanding in your local community that on a particular night each month you're likely to cross paths with others that share your passion for gardening, homesteading, permaculture, and simple, sustainable living. Stay for as long or as little as you like, join the conversation, ask for advice, make new friends, or simply enjoy listening and soaking up some inspiration.

6pm on the second Thursday of every month.

FORTNIGHTLY SUNDAYS

PLAY NETRUNNER!

Netrunner is an asymmetric cyberpunk card game, published by a community-run non-profit called Null Signal Games. You can find out more about Netrunner here.

The Sydney Netrunner community is warm and welcoming, and always happy to play our favourite game with anyone - whether you’ve never played at all and want someone to teach you, or are an experienced runner (or anywhere in-between)!

You can join the Sydney Android Union discord here if you have any more questions about Netrunner or their regular meet ups.

We're meeting fortnightly on Sundays at 12pm - the next one being Sunday 22nd of Feb.

EASTER HAT WORKSHOP

It's that time of year again, parents. The Easter Hat parade is approaching.

Having been around that block a few times ourselves, consider this our community service project. Avoid the glue gun, step away from the baby chicks, and make your way to Chuck & Son's Brewing Co. instead.

The incredible Sophie from Off With The Pixies will have all the supplies and all the energy to help your little one create a masterpiece for their parade. All while you sit back, relax and enjoy a drink.

We'll be crafting from 4pm - 6pm, and tickets are a must. This one will book out, so don't miss out!

SUN 5 APRIL

EASTER SUNDAY

Easter Sunday at Chuck & Son’s is all about gathering around the table. We’ll take care of the setting, with a few little surprises along the way (think Easter eggs for the kids and perhaps even a little chocolate showing up where you least expect it… possibly in a stout). All you need to do is bring the people you love and the good vibes. Whether it’s a long lunch with family, a relaxed catch-up with friends, or a spontaneous Sunday outing, our table is open and there’s always room for a few more. Bring your family to ours and let’s make a day of it.

ANZAC DAY

On ANZAC Day, we pause to reflect and remember the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country. As a small gesture of support, we’ll be donating $1 from every Original Pilsner and Old-World Lager sold to Wounded Heroes Australia, an organisation that provides practical assistance to veterans and their families in times of need. Join us for a quiet moment of reflection, a good beer, and the opportunity to support those who have given so much.

BONSAI WORKSHOP

Bring friends. Craft beer. Craft trees.

Bonsai and Brews is a fun, easygoing workshop to share with friends or family, where you leave with a great story (and your own bonsai tree).

This beginner-friendly 2 hour workshop gets you hands-on from the start. Bonsai expert Mason guides you through potting, shaping, and wiring a bonsai, drawing on 30 years of experience and plenty of humour to keep things relaxed.

No experience needed, if you can hold a pair of scissors, you’ll be just fine.

Grab your drink of choice, settle in, and enjoy two hours of practical learning. You’ll head home with your own bonsai, how to care for it, and the confidence to keep it growing long after the event.
