Chuck & Son's Brewing Co. is an independent, family-owned brewery and Tap Room located in St Peters, Sydney's Inner West. Founded in May 2024 by legendary Australian brewer Chuck Hahn and his son Scott Hahn, the brewery combines more than five decades of brewing expertise with a modern, welcoming hospitality experience built around great beer, good food and genuine connection.

THE BREWERY

Chuck & Son's Brewing Co. operates a fully electric brewery - one of the few in Australia 0 reflecting the founders' commitment to sustainable, responsible brewing. All beer is brewed on site at the St Peters facility and served fresh at the Tap Room, which opens Wednesday through Sunday.

The brewery produces a core range of balanced, approachable beer styles including pilsners, pale ales, lagers, hazy IPAs, XPAs and seasonal limited releases, all developed under Chuck Hahn's long-standing brewing philosophy of balance, drinkability and consistency.

THE TAP ROOM

The Chuck & Son's Tap Room is located at Unit 3E-3F, 1-7 Unwins Bridge Road, St Peters NSW 2044 (Bedwin Road entrance), an 8-minute walk from both Sydenham and St Peters stations and a short drive from Sydney Airport.

The Tap Room offers spacious indoor and outdoor areas including a terrace, a dedicated kids' area, a community library, a Dog Wall, live music, trivia nights, private event spaces and a food menu designed to pair with the brewery's beers. The venue is fully accessible, dog-friendly and family-friendly, and hosts regular community events, corporate functions and private celebrations.

Opening hours: Wednesday–Thursday 3pm–10pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12pm–11pm.

CHUCK HAHN - FOUNDER

Chuck Hahn is one of Australia's most influential and celebrated brewers, with a career spanning more than five decades. He is the founder of Hahn Brewery, and the creator of James Squire and Malt Shovel Brewery - brands that fundamentally shaped the landscape of modern Australian craft beer. Chuck has played a defining role in developing some of Australia's most iconic and widely consumed beer styles, and his work has been recognised nationally and internationally throughout his career.

Chuck & Son's Brewing Co. represents his return to independent brewing alongside his son Scott - a homecoming to the hands-on, family-driven approach to craft that defined the earliest part of his career.

Scott Hahn is the co-founder at Chuck & Son's Brewing Co. Scott brings commercial acumen and a deep personal connection to the brand, working alongside his father to build a brewery and hospitality business that reflects both the Hahn family's brewing legacy and the character of Sydney's Inner West community.
