YOUR BEER CLUB PICKS THIS MONTH
AS ALWAYS, WE'RE DELIGHTED TO HAVE YOU.
We know that you're spoiled for choice when it comes to great beer. So the fact that you choose to have our brews delivered to your door each month? It doesn't go unnoticed. (In fact, it's celebrated. Often with a passionate "cheers" of a Pilsner in The Tap Room.)
This month - as always - you have a treat arriving on your doorstep. Here's what's in store (and in your fridge) this month.
AMBER RESERVE ALE
Something rather special from the malt side of things.
For those who appreciate a beer with a little more malt complexity, our Amber Reserve is a lovely one to spend some time with. This American Amber Ale is built on four specialty malts from Voyager - Compass, Voodoo, Dexter and Chocolate - creating a rich foundation of caramel and toasted malt character. Centennial and Chinook provide the kettle-hop bitterness, while dry hopping with Amarillo and Simcoe introduces a distinctly American combination of pine, citrus and stone fruit. At 30 IBU, the bitterness is present and lingering, providing structure against the richness of the malt rather than simply cutting through it. It's a beautifully layered beer, with plenty to discover as it opens up in the glass. A particularly good reminder that hop-forward beers don't always have to be pale.

ALPINE HAZY XPA
An old friend with a new outlook.
Now, here's one we'd particularly love your opinion on. We've been tinkering with our Alpine Hazy IPA, refining the recipe and giving it a little more strength. The beer's signature character comes from a combination of malted barley, wheat and oats, which create its distinctive haze and soft, rounded mouthfeel. Australian Vic Secret hops are used in the kettle, while generous additions of Idaho 7 and Citra in dry hopping build layers of tropical fruit and citrus. Think guava marmalade, with a lively tangerine-peel finish. The interplay between grain composition, hop intensity and bitterness is what makes this style so interesting, and we've been working on getting that balance just where we want it. If you've enjoyed our Hazy before, we'd love to know what you make of this new version. More body? More hop expression? Better balance? Tell us what you think.

AMARILLO XPA
A little American hop magic.
Amarillo is one of our favourite American hop varieties, and this XPA gives it plenty of room to shine. Used in both the whirlpool and dry hopping, Amarillo brings an expressive combination of citrus and stone fruit without overwhelming the beer's delicate malt character. Look for green mango on the nose, followed by spiced apricot and grapefruit across the palate. There's a gentle haze and a soft mouthfeel, with enough hop character to keep things interesting while maintaining the easy drinkability that makes an XPA such a pleasure. At 4.2%, it's a particularly good example of how thoughtful hop selection and timing can deliver plenty of flavour without relying on higher alcohol. Another of our 2026 AIBA medal winners, taking home Silver.

ORIGINAL PILSNER
An old favourite, beautifully remastered.
There's a fair bit of brewing history behind this one. Chuck was instrumental in introducing German-style pilsner brewing to Australia decades ago, and our Original Pilsner is a contemporary interpretation of that legacy. Brewed in the German tradition, it strikes a careful balance between clean malt character and the spicy, herbaceous bitterness of traditional European hops, including Saaz. The malt provides just enough body to support the hop character, while a crisp, dry finish keeps the beer refreshing without sacrificing flavour. It's a style that rewards precision: there's nowhere for imperfections to hide in a well-made pilsner. We're rather proud of this one, and the judges at the 2026 Australian International Beer Awards agreed, awarding it Gold.
